Terms & Conditions

By asking us for your regular or one-off window cleaning services or any other cleaning service provided by WINDAUGA WINDOW CLEANERS you agree to the following terms and conditions.

The Clean Guarantee

If you have an issue with the quality of your service you must contact us within 48 hours of your service being completed. As part of our commitment to you, we want to ensure you are happy every clean and if you have any issues with the standard of our clean, we will correct it free of charge if you contact us within 48 hours.

Sometimes, the issues are beyond our control, such as the dirt is on the inside of the window. If this is the case, we reserve the right to make a charge of £10 to your account as a call-out fee.

Cancellation of services

You may unfortunately decide you wish to cancel your service with Windauga Window Cleaners. Our routes are planned 48 hours before the planned cleaning of your property, so we require at least 48 hours notice to ensure you are removed from our round before our route has been finalized.

Failure to cancel without 48 hours notice may mean your property is cleaned and you are charged for the work carried out.

You can cancel by emailing by windauga@blueyonder.co.uk/juley@windauga.co.uk or calling 07734537501. Please leave a voicemail if there is no answer. You will still be charged the full clean amount if you cancel on the day.

Skipping a clean

Sometimes you may wish to skip a clean. We can only accommodate this if we are given 48 hours notice as our routes are planned and finalized 48 hours before.

You will still be charged the full amount if you do not let us know you wish to skip with 48 hours notice and still want the clean to be skipped past this point.

As we are a particularly busy service, or 2/ 8 weekly cleans are skipped within a 12 month period, we would regretfully have to remove you from our round.

Open windows

As we use a water fed pole system, you will be required to leave your windows closed and locked when we complete our clean. We will be unable to clean any window which has been left open but you will still be charged the full amount of the clean.

Access

We will also text the night before to remind you that we are coming to clean your windows the following day. This means we require any access gates to the property to be left unlocked so we can access the property to complete the clean.

If we are unable to access the property the appropriate cleaning charge will l be applied. However, we will try and find time to complete the work, but this is not always possible so is dependant upon the situation.

Payment

For regular window cleaning, we accept payment via GoCardless Direct Debit or online, BACS or cash . We are able to accept cheques (but we will be adding a charge in future for this service.)

You will require your bank details and your email address to sign up to GoCardless. The link will be sent to you which must be completed before we start our first clean. We will not be able to begin any work until the direct debit has been set up.

If a direct debit payment fails, we will contact you via email to inform you that we will attempt to take payment again. If it fails a second time we will get in touch for payment via an alternative method. If your payment fails for 2 separate cleans in a 12 month period, we may remove you from our round.

Domestic cleaning terms are two weeks Commercial terms are 30 days Interest may be charge pro rata after this limit

Damage to property

As a responsible window cleaner, we are insured for any damage that we cause to your property, though we have never had to make a claim yet!

We take the utmost care whilst working on your property, but on the rare occasion we caused damage, we will inform you as soon as we possibly can and make arrangements for the damage to be amended.

If you notice damage that we don’t, then you must call us on 07734537501 within 48 hours of the clean to report it. We will then ensure we attend your property to assess any damage and establish how it happened and decide what to do accordingly.

Our brushes are specifically designed for glass and window frames. If you notice a scratch on your glass that you believe is our fault, we would need to attempt to replicate the damage with our equipment before we can submit a claim to our insurers.

Sometimes, the water fed pole system can show imperfections which you may not noticed before. This is because it is so effective in removing dirt from windows.
